We are a group of Bible believing Christians who meet together to Worship and spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are ordinary people from varied background and cultures who are united in our desire to Glorify God and to learn more about him from the Bible.

Many of us can testify that we know that our sins are forgiven and that we will one day be with the Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven. We have this assurance only because we believe that Jesus took the punishment that we deserve when he died on the cross. Jesus declared himself that he is the only way that people can be accepted by God our creator.

Jesus says in John chapter 14 verse 6;

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.”

The church was founded in 1983 by Pastor Bill Pemberton along with people from a few local churches. After a time in Fazakerley Community Centre and Bill’s home the Lord graciously provided the finances to enable us to purchase our current building in Copplehouse Lane.

The fellowship was greatly blessed by Bill’s ministry and dedicated work as pastor and a great foundation has been laid for the future in Fazakerley.

After serving the Lord as pastor for over twenty years in Bethany, Bill retired in 2005. We are currently seeking the Lord’s guidance as we look for a new pastor.
